Just curious if when ending a listing and selling similar if you really need to change a few things, like title or description. Can you just do sell similar and then re-list with no changes and will that show as a new listing?
Thanks for any help/advice

@hook-and-hanger You are correct in that if you select sell similar and change nothing, you will simply list the same exact item with same photos. I have done this before. Best of luck to you....

You can do that, but I suggest to ALWAYS make some changes. If the item sat without anyone wanting it you should make changes. Price, condition field, maybe a fresher picture.

If you relist on your phone double-check your fixed pricing. Ebay defaults to OR BEST OFFER. You'll need to turn that off if you don't want that feature on.

Sometimes I run out of an item and then I find a few more in my stock. In the app I used to hit the relist button (on the sold listing) But that button seems to be broken for weeks now. It just takes you to the main listing page where you type the title of what you are selling. So instead now I have to hit "sell similar" but it does the trick it makes everything the exact same and then I just relist. I do not experience what someone else above said (about it automatically changing it to best offer) even though I am using the app.

If I am reading what you are asking correctly, yes using sell similar even if you change nothing will show it as a new listings. Relist will show the original date the listing went live.
I always use sell similar on an ended listing if I decide to give it another go as opposed to trash bin it. A tweak or two can't hurt. My titles can often be perked up a bit
