Can a customer actually return a used part because he found one cheaper? Just got notice from Ebay that they approved a return on a used motorcycle tire. When I looks at the return, It states the reason, "found a better price". For real. And Ebay allows this? WOW! Let me get this straight. So I have to be the cheapest even after the sale? On a used item, no less? Amazing!

Did you read the conditions on return policies? You don't have to accept a return for found it cheaper if your return policy is no returns. If your policy is returns accepted you have to accept a return for any reason as long as it meets your return conditions which is to return it in the same condition they received it. Unworn, unused, unaltered. Buyer pays return shipping.

You have 30-day returns on your items.
This means the buyer can return the item for ANY reason ... if the buyer bought the item on a Tuesday, and says that he forgot that buying things on Tuesday makes his dead grandmother upset, then he can return it.
As a Top Rated Seller offering 30-day returns, if the buyer returns the item in a deteriorated condition (damaged, new item used, new packaging torn, etc.) then you can refund with a partial refund according to the "Refund Deductions Guidelines Table" on this page.

I believe this is what we are up against in the very near future as online sellers. Consumers have the same tools we have to make decision on products. Now there are apps you can download that have algorithms to search the internet for a lower price and they will get you a refund on the difference. We have to evolve to the landscape. Adding value that makes your product different. For example you sell a pair of shoes but all your shoes come with a free pair of socks. ect..

I have a different perspective. First of all I always insist on a Supervisor & don't give up. The person who answers the phone only knows what's on his "script". He won'r want to give you to a Supervisor because he must get a black mark or some such thing. This is assuming that you are right, of course. When I know I'm right, I'm relentless. I probably should say that I don't take returns--ever. eBay has never gone against that. It's worth a try.

Oh, you can absolutely have a no returns policy, or even a 2 week return vs. 30 day. But "no returns" does not equate to "no refunds"......
YMMV
