I've been wondering for a while now if it was perhaps possible (or when/if Ebay would integrate) to advertise listings for custom orders. I run a custom fabrication business, so creating listings from each and every creation would be so tedious, it would almost not be worth my time. I want to make a One-Size-Fits-All type of listing for custom requests. Is this something that has been addressed, or will be?
Thanks.

Would these be customized versions of the same product?
Such as, for example, custom imprinted T-shirts, or custom signs or license plates? Go to eBay search and enter Customize as a search term. You will find a lot of examples which you can use as examples.
Or are you talking about customized products where no 2 are even remotely connected by theme, style or product?

There are quite a few sellers offering custom work. How long does it take you to fill a custom order? You can have a handling time of up to 30 days.
If you are looking for a way for buyers to specify the the exact customization they want at time of order, there is not a streamlined method. It has to be handled post-sale directly with the buyer.
If the customization choices you are offering is more generic (size, color, font) you can have a look at Variation Listings.
It would be helpful if you indicated what type of customization you are talking about, without that it's just guessing what might work for you.

I do 3D printing and custom fabrication via woodworking, metalworking, fabric, custom painting & finishing. I make all sorts of props, replicas, prototypes, products, etc. I have an ever-growing gallery of completed work and I intend to import those specific examples over. However, I was just thinking of a platform for true custom order inquiries. It is impossible to conceptualize and cover enough of the possible concept market to capture the vast potential clientele pool. The suggestions above are good, but still they are tedious and non-comprehensive. Etsy and my personal website do a much better job. However, Ebay brings with it a cacophony of exposure.
