Credit for shipping label

For the first time in years I got email that I am getting credit for shipping label. I only got such and email telling me I owe more. 
Why do I see the word TEST instead of tracking?

You received a email from whom?? If it isn't from eBay messaging it may be "Fake News".  I would be careful of any follow up messages wanting ANY info. 

Never head of a refund without asking. Good luck.

I've gotten several of these and the money was deposited, although I'm certain my weights were correct and theirs were not, I calibrated my scale.  All of them were refunds for overpayment and all of them said Test.

after seeing “ test” I thought it is not real but test. That helps to clarify that for me. Thanks. It is nice to see credits. Pleasant surprise.

It's not fake.  I've received several of these.  Can't speak to why they say "test", but they are real.

The word 'test' is used to signify they weighted the package, they 'tested' it against the weight you claimed on the label and found a discrepancy.
