Creating volume discounts for select items in store category

I made a rare visit to the seller hub and as usual went around in circles.  I am trying to figure out how to offer a volume discount for select items in one of my store categories but not including items in lots.  The only possible path I can see so far is to remove the lots to a more generic store category.  Am I, as usual, missing something here?

First, sorry, I must have pressed the wrong button to give your query a best answer.

But the answer is no, the bulk edit only allows for "when a buyer purchases more than one item at a time from a single multi-quantity listing".
