Is anybody else getting a lot of buyers trying to use coupon codes?  I have had to cancel 10 sales this month because people were expecting to use some code to get a discount.

Are the buyers asking you to honor the coupons?  They are suppose to enter those when they check out. That's when they find out if it's good or not. If they're complaining to you, tell them that they need to discuss it with eBay, you have no control and don't even know when someone uses a coupon.

They tell me after they checked out that they didn't get the discount.    I guess they are thinking the coupons they are getting must be from eBay for the whole site and not for an individual users account.

That happens every now and again. People don't read the entire coupon and think it's for the whole site. The coupons have an asterisk on them that says it's either in a specific category or for a list of hand picked sellers. Make sure your clicking buyer asked to cancel the order or your percentages with fall like a rock but also see if the discounted rate they want is something your willing to sell the item at so you don't loose the sale 🙂
