I sell mostly used items & mostly jewelry although do have some other items too. Some jewelry is marked where it is from but most are not. I talked to eBay today asking them how these should now be shipped to the US. Up to this point if a listing had country of origin unknown it defaulted Canada as that is where you were shipping it from & in my case would be where I bought it also. eBay just suggested I talk to the PO or customs. I suggested to them as I was far from the only one selling used items in Canada that it would behoove them to get some advice for us. She said she would pass it on to higher ups but am not holding my breath in that.
wondering what others who are selling used items where COO is not known how are you going to handle it? Just use Canada as we have been doing? Appreciate your thoughts.
Am in the process of removing US shipping for items made in China. Things getting too complicated & then we also have to worry about a postal strike! I have not recovered from the last one.
