Seems to be regular confusion on this.
eBay charges an insertion fee for basic low volume seller of $19. There is no other fee involved after car sells. So proceeds to me, the seller, would be $9,989 when the car is sold?

Vehicle sales in eBay Motors has different rules than other merchandise on the regular site. For instance, bids are not binding on either party. I would recommend that you review all eBay Motors policies before listing.

eBay will charge you the fee for whatever package you choose to sell the car ($19 basic, $49 plus, $79 premium) when you list the car. I believe you pay that immediately.
If you charge a deposit when the buyer purchases, eBay will charge you a 2.8% processing fee on that deposit and send you a payout for the remainder.
The proceeds to you will be whatever the buyer pays you directly when he picks up the car if he actually follows through with the sale.
