what is going on?
just listed an item (132343004335) when i check the listing this is what i see in description;
Content was blocked because it was not signed by a valid security certificate.
i use IE11 and W7.
anyone knows what is going on?
for now will put my description in condition box.
it seems it is not doing for other listings (listed prior to this one).
any help is appreciated.

Check your links in the description, you may have to switcht to HTML view to find it. You must have one that links outside eBay and that site's certificate isn't working right (or eBay isn't, take your pick).
You'll likely need to remove the link.

i don't have any links in my description.
all i do in the box is type my description and that is all.
i removed all active content and links long ago from other listings.
this is a new listing anyway.
1 suggested on a similar thread to search "force certificates to update" on google.
i did and there is no way i can do what they tell me to do.
i am NO computer genius.
well i guess the description is visible now.
thank God.
no way i could have done what this other person suggested to do.
thanks for your help.

I had no trouble viewing that listing, using WIN7 and Chrome.
I scanned it and didn't find any issues - no active content, off-eBay links, or insecure links.

Looks fine with Windows 10 and latest Firefox.

We are having the same issue. All my listings state "Content was blocked because it was not signed by a valid security certificate."
All my listing are doing it on one computer using edge. When I check my listing on another computer using Chrome I can see them.
I have the same security system on both computers.

Sounds like the glitch where eBay provided content is getting identified in the new http/https requirements.
On a side note, OP, the title of the listing you provided has what looks like an error - you have run the words Bunny and Enamel together. If this is a typo, add a space between the two words so each would be searchable.

Upon further review
More reports and it looks like one the the 3rd party hosting services (Akamai sp?) has a couple servers that need updating. That company hosts a significant number of sites, web resources and analyics tracking processes. Also explains why it's intermittent.

If you have checked your listing using the secure link, then you will see that warning on most browsers. That is the warning that eBay is anticipating would affect some sellers in October when eBay puts all pages on a secure connection while those affected sellers still have non-secure content in their listings.

If instead, you view the item through the normal protocol, there should be no issue and no warning. This is what those affected sellers would see until the cutover date sometime in October.

You'll be fine with your listings.

"You'll be fine with your listings."
Nope, not here. I have no http:// links, and I can't see anything on the default page (which is https://) -- I can't see buyers dropping the s ...
Error messages I see in browsers are here:

I'm getting same error msg.
I also use edge on "The Hated Computer" Aspire One Notebook.
Hope this clears up, no sales today.

I'm getting the same error as well.
The browser says the following error has occured below:
"vi.vipr.ebaydesc.com uses an invalid security certificate. The certificate is only valid for the following names: *.akamaized.net, *.akamaihd-staging.net, *.akamaized-staging.net, *.akamaihd.net, a248.e.akamai.net Error code: SSL_ERROR_BAD_CERT_DOMAIN"
The problem seems to be an invalid security certificate.
Hopefully Ebay will fix this error soon since I cannot view any of my listings properly.

Update:
We spoke to eBay Anchor Stores customer support. They thought it maybe a certificate error on our computer. They provided a possible fix. This fix did not change the current situation. We currently do not believe it is a true certificate error.
We have determined it only effects our listings when signed into our account. We sign into our main account on two separate computers and the error occurred. When we signed into our other account and look at the listings for our main account there are no issues / errors. We did this on both computers with no issues. One computer uses edge and the other uses chrome.
This tells us it only happens when we are signed into our actual account and look at our listings. It appears that everyone else sees them as they should be seen. Based on that, our deduction is it is not a certificate issue on our computer or form another server / site.
One other insight. When you open an effected listing and try to make modifications there are no issues under Item description for standard view. It appears as it should for the listing.
It is appears to be an eBay issue due to the fact it only happens when you are signed into your account.
Hope that helps in so some way.
