Are we negatively impacted if we remove all listing somewhat often? I will be out-of-state multiple times over the next couple months. I don't use vacation mode, I typically just remove all listings to save myself the headaches. Ill be gone for 2 weeks at a time over the next few months. Is it better to not relist at all? Or when I am back should I relist everything for the couple weeks that I am back, and then remove them again. I just don't know if it will negatively impact my listings being put in front of customers or not.

When I go on vacation I'm not gone 2 weeks. Usually 7 days or less. I put my store(s) on vacation and change
my handling time to fit my schedule. The last time I was gone, I had more sales than I expected and was pleasantly surprised at the amount. No complaints whatsoever about delayed shipping.
When I went away and closed everything down. It solved the problem of having to worry about ebay stuff while I was gone, But it seemed it took too long for sales to pick back up when I got home and relisted.
I still find myself on my laptop while vacationing. Questions asked, INR complaints, More questions, More questions, it never ends.

Vacation setting has been replaced by an option that eBay calls "Time away." Not sure what "headaches" you associate with the old vacation setting so I don't know if Time Away addresses those issues.

An alternative to that would be to use the "Out of stock" Option which hides your listings if you adjust the "Quantity available" to zero, then shows the listings again when you edit the quantity.

Greetings,
One of the headaches of the new system it only covers 30 days. So, if your time away is more than that you will have to attend to it.
This happened to me recently. I was out of town a hair under a month and got sick on the road. As a result, I was out of town a month and a half. My items were on vacation mode. Under this new system I would have to tend to them because the limit is 30 days.
Another issue would be snow birds that shut things down a few months when traveling in the winter. Over 30 days you will have to address things.
If gone less than 30 days I am going to just use the time away feature.
Regards

Yes, the 30-day limit is a big flaw in the new Time Away option. But since the OP said they would be away for 2 weeks at a time, it didn't seem relevant in this case. For absences over 30 days, either ending the listings or using "Out of stock" would be a better fit.

The new Time Away function that replaces the Vaca function auto adjusts your handling time if you choose to leave your listings active.

I used Turbo Lister for well over a decade, and I regularly listed or ended hundreds of listing at a time. (And by regularly, I mean at least twice a month on average).
I had no issues whatsoever.

It won't negatively impact your account as long as they are GTC / Fixed price listings.
A couple things to consider. Depending on how many listings you are talking about, this can be a good amount of work. It could also use up your monthly free allotment of listings quickly. Then you end up with some listings fees to pay on top of all the extra work.
You should take a close look at the Time Away function. You can hide your listings so no one can purchase them or you can leave them active. If you are gone for a full two weeks, hiding them is probably best especially at this time of year.
Also make sure you know the difference between the Relist function and the Sell Similar function, they are different. I know many say they are going to relist something and use that term to mean just listing it again. But there are distinctions between these two functions.
When you relist then all the views you had on the original listing will follow it when you relist as long as this is the FIRST relist you did off the listing. It will also notify any Watchers that you have on the listing that you have relisted the item as long as the buyer hasn't turned this feature off in their preferences. Only ONE relist to a listing is allowed to qualify for notification to buyers if they are watching.
Also if you are relisting a item that you had several of and some sold, and it is the first time you relisted this particular listing, then the sales history will follow the listing for Search return purposes. It won't show on the listing, but it is considered for up to 90 days after relist.
When you Sell Similar, it creates what the system considers a new listing. It resets the views and sales history. You are a brand new listing. Now on caution when doing this. If you sell similar a multi quantity listing that had some sales on it previously, the system will NOT deduct your previous sales. It will revert to the original quantity. So if you had a listing that had 10 for sale and you sold 2 for a new balance of 8, if you relist, the quantity will go back to 10, so you need to remember to adjust that.

I Agreed with you 100%. I should have posted my comments under their comments. I hope no offence.
Take care.

One criterion of Best Match, the default and most used Search, is recent sales.
So whether you are On Vacation /Time Away, or whether you close all your listings, it is the lack of sales that makes new sales harder.
You might try on your return and re-opening adding some 1% Promoted Listings. While PL never produced much in actual sales for me, they did vastly increase the number of Views I was getting and sales of other listings went up.
I should say however that so many sellers have found PL that it is no longer much help. Still, since I only pay if a Promoted Listing sells, I will continue to use it.

2 weeks? Use vacation mode... and allow sales. It shows that the seller is away right in the search listings, and when they will be back. I used to just shut things down, I realized there was an "allow sales" function, and over 3 days gone I had almost as many sales as normal.
