Completed item re-direct. What kind of idiocy is this???

Why does eBay continually have to mess with the platform?

Now clicking on a sold, completed listing redirects to a different "similar" item that is still active.

IF I WANTED TO SEARCH FOR THAT ITEM I WOULD HAVE DONE SO IN THE FIRST PLACE!!!

eBay just took away the ability to review completed listings. This was a very useful feature for a seller.

It just amazes me... Their despiration to sell is reaching new highs.

Where eBay says the listing has ended, the word "listing" is a link to it.  A nuisance to deal with but still possible to get there.

List more, sell more. Goodwill that other, uh, stuff.

Feeling sleepy? There's an app for that.

I was just going to post on this! That happens to me about 50% of the time. The item is generally NOT even close. aS A SELLER THIS IS RIDICULOUS.

What is interesting is that it appears to be selective.

I just tested it on several more items and most went to the original listing.

It "appears" that if the item is not in the catalog it defaults to the original sold item.

And I triple checked, in no instance did the "listing" tag appear for me.

And yes, this is a posting ID.

I hated it too at first, it is really a reflex at this point - to hate everything that they introduce, bit having thought about it I decided that it may actually benefit me as a seller.
