@Anonymous
Thanks for responding to my question during today's chat. I ran out of time to answer your question.
You wrote:while we do not have a team that solely oversees our store feature, if you can give us some more details on what you'd like to discuss we can look into what teams may be able to discuss this in more detail. That aside, I want to clarify that the primary benefits of a store subscription are the changes to final value fees in certain categories, the increased number of free listings, and the dedicated phone support for those who subscribe at the Anchor store level and above. ...
Okay, here goes.
I'd like to see more flexibility in the storefront design. What we have is okay, but it's very limited. As a store owner, I would like to be able to customize the look and feel of the storefront to fit my business.
I'd like to have better formats for store newsletters with up-to-date, attractive designs. The current ones look amateurish and ugly. Again, I would like the ability to customize the newsletter for my needs. I'm not great with HTML coding, but even when I spend time getting my newsletter text to look right, the final published result often is different than what I saw in the preview. A newsletter can be a good tool, but I don't send them out often because they are a pain to produce and then don't look all that good.
I would like to see improvements in how we can customize the listing frames. The current process is so clunky and time-consuming, and the options are very limited. It's also glitchy. For example, I've never been able to get my current storefront banner to appear in the listing frame.
In a nutshell, I would like my eBay store to look and feel like something from the 21st century, instead of the 1990s leftover we have now.

Hi @creativecrisis, thank you so much for the follow up! I'll be happy to pass along your feedback for potential changes in the future. While I don't have any additional information to provide on some of these suggestions, I can clarify that some of the changes we've made in recent years to many features and tools have been in an effort to increase site security. Many of the options that allowed for customization or the input of code have been removed as they pose risks for exploitation and abuse. In other areas we've made changes to create a more consistent visual site experience for buyers, particularly between the desktop site and the mobile site. These may be contributing factors to why we've reduced the customization options you've mentioned or why we may not be able to implement some of these suggestions.
That being said, I definitely will get this passed on for consideration. While I wanted to provide some additional context on the current options or possible changes, we're always happy to look into how we can innovate and improve our site while maintaining site security and a unified appearance.

Hi!
Brand perception, when orchestrated well, will make a business successful. It also has the potential to put a business under. Being able to present my business on eBay in a professional looking format that matches Trademarked logo and colors can only enhance prospects for success which, in turn, will benefit eBay via increased traffic and fees. Multiply fees that are originated from a single, average, transaction, by the number of store subscriptions, at only one additional sale each. How much additional income would this generate for eBay? How much additional income will be required to give the store and listing frame a sprucing up?
Thank you,

It may seems a bit counter-intuitive, but the Buyer Team is actually ---finally--- working on store redesigns. The lead, Bradford Shellhammer , talked about this in a recent monthly update. Let me see....October's Check In or whatever they call it....here's a link, his part starts around Minute 28 or so. It's only a few minutes long, you don't need to watch the whole video LOL:
