Combined Shipping Question

I am a fairly new seller with over 200 sales last year and just started selling again 2 weeks ago. My listings state I will combine shipping and the buyer should wait for an invoice or request total before paying. I had 8 auctions end tonight and one buyer won 3 and paid immediately even though I allow 4 days for payments. Another won

two auctions and also paid separately. Since each auction will have it's own label I will now have to mail these 5 items separately with no combined shipping as if they were totally different buyers. Am I correct in my thinking?. The items are sport card sets and boxes. Thanks for any advise you may have.

The sold items and the buttons for creating labels are on your Manage Orders Awaiting Shipment screen.

You can create a combined shipping label for the 3 auctions. Go back to the Manage Orders Awaiting Shipment screen and load the tracking number into the other sales using the + Add Tracking.

Do the same process for the other customer with 2 purchases.

Should you message the buyers to inform them of the combined package?
Should you refund some amount of postage?
That is up to you and the probability of a repeat buyer figures into that.
I don't message or refund because my merchandise rarely gets repeat buyers.

Thanks for the detailed reply. The buyer did message me wanting combined shipping so I will try this later and

issue him a refund.
