Could you explain the question a bit better. Are you asking if you can upload a photo from there? If so, it's less trouble to first download it to your device and send it to eBay from there.

Let me be more precise. Can I embed a web address from within a listing. In this case, I would want to embed the address for a photo. Why? Because using a third party service limits the storage for pix before you have to pay for more space. I would rater just have all my pix in the Cloud and in their own directories my category and be able to grab them from within a listing.

Years ago this was common practice nowadays it's not used much and to be honest I don't know if eBay still allows it (I think they do).
What cloud service do you intend to use? Many of them do not allow hotlinking. You can use your own website if you want, it must have a valid SSL certificate (https).
I presume you are talking about embedding images in the Description area, you would still need to upload the images to eBay so they appear in the eBay Gallery section.

Yes, on eBay you can link to pictures stored in the cloud, but only in specific ways:
1. eBay Picture Hosting (recommended): eBay allows you to upload photos directly from your device to eBay’s own picture hosting. This is the most reliable method, as eBay ensures your images display correctly on all devices.
2. Linked Images in the Description (HTML): You can add cloud-hosted images to your item description using HTML. Simply use the `<img>` tag to reference the image URL. Keep in mind:
- Some cloud services may not support hotlinking or may block eBay from displaying the image, depending on their policies.
- Images in the description may not be as visible or prioritized as those in eBay’s main image gallery.
3. eBay’s API for Professional Listings: If you are managing listings via an API, eBay allows you to reference images hosted externally as part of the listing details. However, images must still follow eBay’s quality standards and terms.
Using eBay’s picture hosting directly is the most seamless way to ensure your images are accessible and display reliably across devices and regions.
