Trying to close my Ebay account, but a message comes up saying that I have an open subscription - which I don't. After not getting paid for over a year for a transaction in late 2020 (my last sell), its time to go. Also, out of the blue Ebay charged me $10.74 for apparently a shipping fee for the same last transaction - 5 months later. All this, according to Ebay, from not linking my bank account for managed payments, which I did at least ten times...it worked then it didn't. 1094 feedback and Ebay shot themselves in the foot.

Is there a reason that an experienced seller like yourself would not open an unpaid item case if/when he had not been paid within several days of the end of the auction/listing?

The buyer paid Ebay, however Ebay has not paid me.

I re-entered my bank account numbers many times, it worked for awhile, then didn't work. It's Ebay's lack of any customer support.
And its a bunch of other problems with Ebay, high fees, too much time to list items, the customer is always right attitude (unless your Ebay's customer - the seller), high shipping fees on UPS and Fedex.
But right now the problem is this "open subscription" which is preventing me from closing the account.
I guess I'll lose my ~$70 due me to Ebay's incompetence.

key word, INCOMPETENCE. ebays lack of customer support for its sellers i the elephant in the room.
