Why change Classic View when most eBay members were comfortable with it? The explanation that it was "outdated" and based on old code seems ridiculous. That is not a good explanation. Write a new code using an acceptable format close to what was there. Also, what is meant by "most advanced tool for experienced sellers." Is a seller an experienced one that is selling for 1 year, 4 years, 7 years, 15 years, 20 years. How many years do you have to be on eBay to qualify as an "experienced seller." What is the end game or end gain? I call the whole changes the Peter Principle.

They took away our classic view and sellers are hopping mad.
I tagged your post so that you can see that there are MANY MANY unhappy sellers in regards to this needless change (needless for us seller's anyway.)
Check out all of the tagged posts. Some of them are extremely well written and concise.
Okay all...there is going to be the Weekly Chat with eBay Staff. It is this Wednesday, 03.24.2021 at 1 PM PT
It is only open for one hour.
Please pass it along to everyone - FLOOD THE CHAT WITH NON STOP COMPLAINTS ABOUT THIS NEW ALL SELLING PAGE! Let them know how user unfriendly this new format is...
Just because something works doesn't mean that it's good...it just means that it works.
We could put octagon shaped wheels on our cars and it would work but it obviously would not work as well as the round shaped ones that we currently use...but would it work?...sure...would it work well...uh..no.
I cannot attend...gotta work at my real job...
Remember...we are not complaining about the sellers HUB...
We are complaining about the new seller's PAGE.
Everyone: This is an important distinction. The seller's HUB has been around for years and it has pretty much looked the way it is from day 1.
The sellers PAGE is the one that they just changed. The one that you all liked b/c it had everything on one page...that is the sellers PAGE.
The seller's HUB NEVER had everything on one page...EVER.
Seller's PAGE...do not forget.

I will try to join the Weekly Chat today.

Seller Hub might be an advanced tool, but if the user interface is garbage and too cumbersome / time-consuming / frustrating to use, then I will not use it and those fancy advanced tools will go to waste.
Frankly, the user interface should be the easy part, especially when they already had a great interface in Classic View. Just replicate that. I never heard anyone complaining about Classic View. Now there is an uprising since they took it away.
Come on, eBay, figure it out. This is basic stuff.

I hate the new seller's page. How can sellers return to the much friendlier and more attractive classic page?

This was my contribution to Community Chat. I said "Regarding Classic View. Why not write a code to accept Classic View and give members the option to choose. I hope I won't be considered presumptuous to say that most eBay members are not celebrating the new format. "
This was a member of the Community Team's response -
"we wanted to bring our most powerful selling tools together in Seller Hub. The new All Selling page is a much more modern version of the classic My eBay All Selling, with modern code and visual design. We do not have any plans to revert back to the classic All Selling page as it's visual design and code do not align with modern web standards."
Why ask that members join their Weekly Chat when decisions that are made by the "Team" will never be reverted no matter how dissatisfied members are. You take it or you leave it. That is the option. Persons telling the team the massive sales they made last year and is threatening to leave eBay is oblivious to eBay and its "Team."

eBay's management seem to think mimicking Amazon will rake in more $. No. Changes in eBay search are now returning more irrelevant items, just like Amazon. It is a waste of this buyer's time and is downright frustrating. Now, eBay's management are taking away a very useful tool Classic View, i.e., seller's country, feedback profile and titling. (Declaring a bad seller as "best seller", or some other grandiose title, when it/he/she have numerous neutral and negative feedback, just like Amazon.) eBay allows sellers who are obviously fraudulent (claiming a beryllium diffusion treated/other treatments to corundum as the extremely rare "Padparadscha" Sapphire). eBay even disregarded fraud reports I sent to them, allowing the item to remain listed and "sellable". I have been an eBay member since 2001. eBay is becoming trashy and cheap. I am losing respect for them.
