I noticed I had two items with tracking issues marked in my seller dashboard. I was aware of one, which is a valid mark, but not the other. The mark was for tracking uploaded but no carrier scan. I checked the tracking information and there was no reason at all for the transaction to be marked as such. The item was sent the next day after the sale (despite 2-day handling) and arrived in Hawaii from New York in 3 days.
There was no problem with getting the mark removed. It was obvious to the eBay customer rep that this was not correct.
I not complaining about the customer service. That went very well. What I don't care for is having to spend time investigating what's gone wrong, and time on the phone to correct something that never should have been.
Again, watch your seller dashboard. You never know when one of these marks will slip in there by error.

How did you get it removed? I have a mark saying no scan from 7/27. When I go under order details it shows 3 packages (there was only 1 priority mail padded env) all with same tracking number. Only one package shows it was delivered and with all the scans the other two just show label created??? There was only 1 package for two pairs of shorts bought Saturday scanned by Usps Monday morning. They had a glitch.
I have called CS twice they transferred me to trust dept to someone with heavy accent. He ask lots of dumb questions, like he didn’t have access to even see order details said he would put in escalation and call me back. I called back 2 days later in morning hoping to get US rep. Nope, same thing. They are trying to tell me itwill take 30 days to review and just keep watching it? It is plain as day . It was ONE package for 2 pair of shorts not 3 packages and all three show same tracking number?

I have another post about this as well. Same buyer buys 2 items an hour apart on 6/26. I combine shipping and print one label. I send my message i always send. Thanks for purchases they are shipped as of now yada yada. 3 days later i see a new shipping warning where one item had no tracking. I manually add it on 6/29. Hits my tracking uploaded on time metrics. After the rep finally understanding the problem he agrees it was an ebay glitch but he has to put in a report to get it fixed. "Please sir mr james this will be fixed ine week." Weeks go by and nothing. By the time i called again both tracking numbers showed up as uploaded at the exact same time on 6/26. So the glitch righted itself? Ebay rep says she sees what im talking about but since "its not negatively effecting your accout i cant do anything."
For me that is proof that its done on purpose.

How did I get it removed? I called eBay and pointed out to them the tracking information showing the item had been shipped one day earlier than required, and that tracking status information showed the item was delivered in Hawaii 3 days later. There was no disputing the mark was not valid, and therefore was easily removed.
