Check your delivery on your sold items 1st. class.

I send an item on the 19th of June.  I check my sold items daily until they show delivered. The item shipped on the 19th, only showed that my local Post office is in possession, nothing else. I started a tracking search with USPS.  I went to my  Post office because it showed is was there. I was sold that USPS had problems with the new changes from 1st class to Ground delivery.  I was told to wait 1 week and if no move is noted on the package. The following Monday the were no changes. So I filed another USPS tracking request., on July 31st the package showed delivered.

I was so glad the buyer did not open an INR. I don't want to be on ebya radar for INR. Also, my Postmaster informed me that if you have tracking with Ground delivery and the item is lost I can request a refund.

I see that happen quite often. I went to my PO to complain about lack of scans and was told this: USPS hire’s a third party to pick up and transport mail from one hub to the next.

They are supposed to scan the mail at each hub they deliver or stop at, but don’t.

Which is why seller like us start to panic when items aren’t delivered on time.

Luckily we both have buyers who are either patient or don’t monitor tracking like we do.

Below is a screen shot of a package I mailed yesterday. It says picked up and nothing since.

Note that the info says tracking provided.🤔IMG_0827.jpeg

Yes, unlike First Class, ground Advantage is insured up to $100.

With First Class, if the package got lost, tough.

I ship solely via USPS Media Main and Ground Advantage.  My carrier scans all my packages when she picks them up.

I am my only employee.  I do it all.  I ship too many packages daily to take the time to watch the tracking on all of them to make sure the tracking shows delivered.  I've been selling for many years and this does not cause me any issues.

Yes! Same thing happens in my area. The 3rd party transport will only scan the bin/container the packages are in & not each individual item. Sometimes 3 days will go by with no updates & a few of my buyers get a bit antsy & do not understand what I am talking about with the scanning. It can be frustrating!

I agree.

@mam98031

I also ship MM and GA. I’m talking about after the acceptance scan by carrier nothing is scanned again until delivery due to third party transporting the mail is not scanning packages as they should.
