Charged Insertion fees with basic store subscription

I've been listing for 2 months and recently I started getting charged insertion fee even when I have the basic subscription usually .20 to .30 cents per listing... I only listed 62 items and I still have more then enough to list but I keep getting charged insertion fees.... I saw the old thread from 2018 people complaining about this issue but thread is closed since it's old and still seems like problem persists so I am opening another one so Ebay can fix it.

Are you listing in 2 categories. If you are e bay is charging you for 2nd categories. I hope you the best.

Free store listing for auctions is only in a few categories.
If you list auction outside of those categories there will be a listing fee.

As noted in the other post, your free insertions for auction-format listings can only be used in 13 specific categories; some of your listings are in non-eligible categories.

Also, there is a fee for adding a "Buy it now' option on an auction-format listing.  The fee depends on the price. You can see the chart of fees and the list of categories where you can list free auctions here:
