Changing a listing from best offer to no best offer.

So the menehune some how changed one of my listings from no best offer to best offer. I don't use best offer, i never have. I understand this "glitch" happens a lot.

No big deal, i'll just revise the listing and change it ... but it wont let me!

Do i have to end the listing and re-list?

I'm surprised you can't revise it but today someone pm'd me with a comment about an item. I went to revise it before thanking them and I couldn't revise it. Figured it may be due to an unanswered question. So went back and Thanked the person and went back to revise the listing. I still couldn't do it - so had to end the listing and relist it.

I rarely list with best offer, but I sometimes get them anyway in eBay messages.  So I may reply with offer, with a very slight reduction in price if it's a MQ item that I have plenty of, or politely decline, and ignore any follow up messages, unless it's from eBay to say the item sold.

It appears ebay is adding the Best Offer option to fixed priced listings and auto relist if you are using the Quick Listing Tool.

To remove that option, go to My ebay > Selling > Listings > Active > Edit

You will now have to switch to the advanced listing form with more choices. That option is in the upper right corner. Once you switch, you will be able to scroll down and uncheck the Best Offer option and auto relist.

Ebay doesn't make it easy to accomplish what you may want , if it isn't what ebay would prefer ,always what is in ebay's best interests.

Yes, but all of these changes apply to sellers using the Quick Listing Tool.  I have always used the Advanced Listing form and ebay doesn't add Best Offer, or auto relists onto my listings.
