I have been going nuts trying to figure out how to make my Fixed Price listing go for 5 day duration instead of the default duration of "Live until sold or canceled".
I used to be able to select the duration option but now it seems that different duration is only available in an auction and not a Buy it Now listing.
From this screenshot, you can see that when "Auction" is selected, the Auction duration drop down box appears. However, no matter what duration is selected, if the "Auction" check box is de-selected, then the duration reverts to "Live until sold or canceled (see next Screenshot).
Am I missing something? Is there a way to create a 5-day Buy it Now listing with no auction component?

Alas, nothing about the Quick listing form is intuitive. But good news: You CAN access 5-day duration when setting up a listing. To get more options:
1. In the upper-right corner of the listing form, click on "Change listing preferences."
2. At the bottom of the pop-up screen, click on "Enable more options," then Save.
3. Click on the "Change" link at the far right of the header for the Pricing section.
4. At the bottom of the Pricing section, click on "More options." Then you will see the drop-down menu where you can choose other durations for your listing.
I don't understand why eBay calls this the "Quick" listing form!

TOO LATE TO EDIT THE ABOVE POST:
Apparently there are now some versions of the Quick form that do NOT give options for the duration of fixed price listings, even when set up to give options for auction-format listings.
1. In the upper-right corner of the listing form, click on "Change listing preferences."
2. At the top right, you should now see an option to switch to the Advanced listing form, which has all the options for duration.
