I got the latest letter from ebay:
Starting in October 2017, Google Chrome—the browser used by almost half of all eBay buyers—will begin displaying the message "Not Secure" in the address bar when users visit standard HTTP pages or HTTPS pages that include non-secure HTTP content.
I went through what they said and 479 of my listings have security issues related to the photos. I take my own photos, edit them in photoshop if needed, and then upload to my listings. How in the world am I going to change that??

I have 6612 listings and all security issues related to the photos as well. Have you heard from anybody yet?

I am so sorry that your listings were affected. I know how you feel. It is simply horrible that Google Chrome decided to this to all of us! I have to make the same changes to my store as well.
May I ask you...where do you upload your pictures to?
If you have website hosting like Yahoo or GoDaddy for example,
you will need to purchase a SSL Certificate and once you do that,
your website will display htttps and not http anymore and that is
the change that Google wants us to make.
You will also have to edit the link of all of your images
from http to https - I hope this helps you.

I want to add by saying...once you get your SSL Certificate with your web hosting company, to make it easier for you to get all of your listings updated,
please do the following:
1. Open up NOTE PAD on your computer
2. Copy the HTML Code from one of your eBay Listings
3. Paste the HTML Code into Note Pad
4. Search in Note Pad for all of the http in your code
5. Replace all http in your code with https
6. Lastly, copy and paste your updated HTML code back into your eBay listing, review the listing first on the Standard Tab and then save your changes
I hope this helps you,

@decoratorsfriend What file extension are you photos? jpg, jpeg, png? I don't use Chrome but am following some threads on it.

you can use the bulk editing tool. use find and replace; find H T T P replace with H T T P S
I still need to figure out how to update this individually though, anyone know?
