Change shipping method after payment

Can I change shipping method to local pick up AFTER buyer has paid?  Thank you

     As heckofagame mentioned not officially. However I have changed the shipping method on occasion when it benefits the buyer. I.E. from UPS ground to USPS priority mail or from calculated priority mail to a flat rate package which is also priority mail. The buyer gets it faster and on a couple of occasions the difference in cost has been significant enough that I have refunded the buyer part of the shipping cost.

For local pickup to work, eBay generates a QR code for the buyer to show the seller when the item changes hands. Without the code to document the pick-up legitimately occurred, the seller cannot prove to eBay that the buyer took the item into their possession. It leaves the seller vulnerable to an Item Not Received claim.
