I got an offer about 100$ higher then the buy now price. Buyer originally wanted it to a US address but then said that he had no time to receive it himself and wanted it as a "christmas gift for a nephew in Nigeria". It looks like the payment went but he said it had to be shipped today by 4. He had good reviews but they all have similar text. I cancelled with the "problem with buyer address" option.
Is this the right choice? How can I tell if these kind of buyers are scamming?

This scam is getting very popular. Never send to any address other than what is on the eBay/Paypal original invoice. If the person cannot accept at the original shipping address provided, advise them to cancel and re-purchase, entering the new address before making payment. If they do not come back to do that, it was a scam.

Um..did you log into paypal and verify the buyer has paid and that payment is complete/OK to ship? Because this has SCAM written all over it. I doubt you really got paid.

Ebay should let us take advantage of paypal's ability to let us opt out of echecks.

I'm greedy, I guess \:-:/ Funny thing is there where 2 offers above buy it now price. Both probably scams... I bet they have a program looking for first time sellers with expensive items.
