I just sold an item. When I was notified that it had sold and been paid for. I did not receive my customers address. I had to go into Ebay to get their address. Is this a thing of the future??? James

I've always gotten my buyer's address when an item sells. You had no access to a shipping label with the address? 🤔

I always get my customer's address when I log on to ebay.
That's the only way I get it.
It's there when you print a shipping label.
How do you normally get your customers address? Email?

Why do you need their address prior to printing a label?

I guess I did not make myself understood.
When I receive a Email telling me that I have sold an item and it has been paid for.
In that email is the customers address.
I do not ship thru Ebay. I do not buy postage thru Ebay.
I did not receive the Customers address in the Email.
I just ask if this is a new change.

I have 11,000 feedback. WHY do you tell me not to rely on an email.

I don't remember ever getting a buyer's address in my regular email. I guess I could have missed it. But you have to go into eBay anyway, so I don't see it as an issue.

My sold item email notifications include the buyer's address.
Are you talking about the one that looks like this? (Sample from Wed, Aug 10 - address is on it a bit lower, but not shown for obvious reasons)

I never paid any attention as I use Ebay shipping labels, but all my emails that confirm a sale have the address at the bottom of the email. I have just never scrolled that far down.

Email is a notorious way to get scammed. By logging into the actual website regardless of which company you are dealing with you can rest assured of being scam free. Your choice but I would never use an email for Ebay business.

Today I noticed the same thing when I got this message for each sale:
"Great news, your item has sold and the buyer has paid." The buyer's shipping address is no longer there.
It's a convenience for me so I can see if more than one sale can be combined. But it's not the only way to get the shipping address... It also shows up in my Seller Hub under orders, and since I use Stamps.com for my shipping, I can see the address plainly when my sales download there.
Not a big problem, but I did notice the same thing.
Cheers, Duffy

Same here, no address today. Addresses were there on the 12th.
I had forgot Addresses were there since I don't ever read the emails. I check seller hub daily and do see the emails, just never open them.

Because a LOT of people print out that email to file for their records.
