Change Personal Account to Business

I accidentally created a personal account in trying to make my business account. 

I have....

- tried looking for the edit button on the personal information tab - edit button is not there

- tried multiple browsers (firefox, and chrome) - the edit button is not there

- verified my email

-verified by phone number

- added a payment card onto payment options

I have considered deleting my account and trying to make the account again in 24 hours. 

And to clarify, I do mean

A personal account turning into a business account, not the other way around.

I just went into my account settings and the Edit link is live so if I wanted to I could change from personal to business:  My eBay

Why do you want to change to a business account? It's not required to sell and unless you are operating something other than a sole proprietorship (S-Corp / LLP / LLC) it really does not for you.

Hmmm, that's odd.  Have you tried clearing cookies, cache, browsing history, shutdown and restart?

Have you tried a different browser?

Have you tried listing anything yet?  You can list on one type of account and then change the account type and your listings will still be there.  In trying to do that you might be alerted of something required to complete the registration process before the account gets fully registered.

Go to your Site Preferences

Click on the down arrow by Personal Info

Now Click on Business Info

On the right click on the Edit button beside Account Type.

You will be able to change it there.
