Purchased 2 wheels for my lawnmower last Saturday. The Amazon package arrived Thursday. Item was packed and delivered by Amazon. Filed a complaint. In addition their eBay site states no returns. OK right.. Amazing how these individuals keep selling on eBay but I guess its hard to monitor 1000's of eBay sites unless one files a complaint. Good luck out there.

It isn't being disrespectful or something to Ebay to purchase on another site. Sometimes the item being sought isn't being sold on Ebay. At least that has been my experience.
I too like supporting Ebay and its sellers. I look on Ebay first when I'm shopping for something.

Google is your friend. Amazon themselves explain it this way: 'Logistics tracking assigns a Transportation Booking Number - otherwise known as a TBA - to each shipment. The TBA shipping number tracks the progress of the shipment from the warehouse to the delivery address.'
Amazon does their own shipping so you are not going to see a tracking number from USPS or FedEx or UPS.

How do you know? Are you the seller or work for eBay? Maybe there is a violation maybe not.
You do not have to work for Ebay to know their policies. It would probably help your complaint if you pointed out what policy you think is being violated. Either copy-and-paste it in here or at least post a link to it.
Every time a post happens to this thread and I come into it to read it, the title of this thread gets me. It is as if the OP thinks that dropshipping on Ebay is not allowed or is somehow wrong and they somehow caught an offender.

"so I want to know how to i.d. them when the item arrives. "
look for thrid party promotional materials or additional return instructions. For example, if a dropshipper like this would buy from my store, they have probably sold the item on another platform (AMZ or their own website). When I ship, it will go in an eBay box or a box branded with my company information. The customer would be like, wait, I didn't order from eBay or from this company.
In the box I include information about our store, brands, and promotions. None of these would apply to the dropshipper. I also include information on how to return the item through eBay (when sold here). Again the customer would say, I didn't order from eBay or from my own branded websites. So if they tried to retrun or contact me, I would have no record of the sale to them.

Yes, sellers can have a No Returns policy.
But we cannot have a No Refunds policy.
If the purchase is not as described, the buyer still has the right to Claim a refund.
Conversely, even with a No Returns policy a seller has the right to demand the return of the unacceptable item before refunding BUT will likely have to pay for the return shipping.
