Category and Item Specifics Changes Today

So, I have 1074 items listed and overnight I see that the categories have changed on every one I looked at and I also have 559 items that need item specifics that will be required soon and 664 that need recommended specifics, when they were all correct and up to date yesterday.

I wonder if I go ahead and change everything back will that be a waste of time because they'll do the same again.

I wouldn't do anything right now. I ended all my listings due to the gallery photo glitch. These problems with ebay atm are gunna ruin every ones 4th quarter buyers sellers and even ebay. The shareholders wont be happy 😂

Be very careful if they changed your categories somethings like gallery plus was free in one category and cost money in others. I heard one seller got a $250 bill overnight because of this change. I've heard some sellers saying their not listing any more for now and others say they ended everything for now. You need to check everything as the item specs maybe wrong and the new category may not be correct. Who is to say the updates are not finished yet ? The main thing to be careful on is a new  bunch of extra fees being billed to you that your not aware of, so do take action. In your case I would probably end everything and slowly put things back up correcting them at the same time. I'd even wait a while in case they change things again.

I would wait a few days to make any changes as I feel certain based on what the e-Bay Blue Velvet has posted on the Seller board today on multiple threads - they think it will be 2-3 more days to get everything aligned, but she stated it could take up to a week to get everything resolved.

Good luck and I would hang tight for a little bit.

I was just wondering the same thing! I currently only have 78 listings and just spend at least 20 minutes fixing the categories that eBay "corrected".  (probably on about 15 items) And of course when you change a category you have to fill in the item specifics all over again. It they get switched back I will not be happy. The categories they put some items in were not even close.  And that's going to help me how??  😕
