Cant enter variations on active items

Hi, 

I submitted a listing and i forgot to add variations to the product.

When i am revising my product to edit the "variations" options dosent appear. 

What can i do?

@esimglobal   I just tried it on one of my listings and the choice for Variations does not present itself via the Edit function ... you may have to create a new listing ... I also tried Sell Similar but that does not work either.

It might depend on what you are you are trying to list.

Listing with variations is not available in some categories

so it might not be there for a reason.

@eunster1313   "Most categories" is correct ... in my test the item was created from one of my Templates that has the Variations feature on it ... so if the OP is not seeing when Editing it isn't there which is what I saw too.

It has been a while, but I think if not chosen at onset of listing, you cannot "edit" to add a variation to an existing listing - you have to start over.

If you didn't originally set up the listing with variations, you have to create a new listing. 😞 I found that out the hard way after listing items, and then when I got more inventory I wanted to add them to existing listings but couldn't. Now, when I list something new, I will create it with a variation so in the future if I have something I want to list with it, I can. 

I wish eBay would change this and I wish eBay would let us edit the variations, so if we want to rename something we can still keep track of the sales for the same items. AND, I wish we could edit inventory in the APP with variations in the listing. I don't understand why this would be so hard to allow. I do a lot on my phone. It's easier to update inventory on my phone than on my laptop. I don't get it.
