Cannot remove listed Tickets

Hi today I accidently posted adverts with tickets, I deleted them 5 minutes later but now the original listing is still available in search but unable to purchase.

The barcodes is visable in the pictures and I cannot seem to remove them.

I emailed Ebay customer service and they said listings cannot be deleted from search.

Any help is appreciated.

Cannot remove listed Tickets

Did you try asking on the European board?

And which tickets are you referring to as you have 3 others listed.

But if you cancelled saying there was an error in the listings, the listing goes into the cancelled list.

Only those removed by ebay disappear.

I am also questioning as to whether you should even show these barcodes in your listings to avoid someone making fake tickets with that info.

Cannot remove listed Tickets

I deleted them realising I had barcodes in them assuming the add would be deleted indefinately but Ebay doesnt seem to allow that which I think is a bit ridiculous. They stil list ads that are deleted. I never intended to upload with barcodes it was a mistake.

You did't "delete" your listings, you ended them.  Once a listing has gone active on eBay, it cannot be completely deleted by the seller. Active listings can be revised, but completed ones cannot.    Unsold completed listings are available for everyone to see for 30 days.

Maybe Customer support can delete specific images from the completed listings, for you.

Unless eBay removes a listing because it violates a policy or is otherwise illegal, all ended listings remain on eBay's servers for 90 days.

You ended an active listing but you did not (and cannot) delete it.

Tip: Next time you "accidentally" allow a listing to go live, REVISE the content to remove the offending material before you actually end the
listing.

Try this. Relist it and replace the pictures with new pictures.

Creating a new listing does not remove the historical evidence. The "mistake" remains on eBay's servers for 90 days.

Did that and it just relisted a new add and kept the old one. So now my mistake is online for as long as two months. I think this is absolutely ridiculous

No, keeping completed listings (sold or unsold) available for research is an important component of eBay or any other similar website.

Now, if you want to risk getting kicked off eBay -- and never being permitted to buy or sell again -- I supposed you could report your "mistakes" as being a threat to national security or promoting international terrorism. How about reporting the tickets as counterfeit merchandise for which the event promoter can have you arrested and prosecuted?

Bottom line: You made a mistake. Learn to live with it. Frankly, I doubt anyone else even cares about an ended listing among zillions. Besides, eBay's search engine is notoriously poor -- what are the chances anyone will even notice a listing of no particular interest>

Don't worry much about it. People will have to go into the complete listings to find them, and have a devious mind to make any use of those tickets. You probably should not have posted this question because it has now attracted unwanted attention to the tickets, but I think nothing is going to come of this.

Um, no.  Don't follow that advice.

Just don't worry about it - all listings can be found if you try hard enough.

OP - If you host your own pics, you can replace them with something else.
