I have clicked to change fixed price item to auction. I have fully edited the listing and everything looks fine. When I submit it, it is not accepted with the message that the listing has errors. No error is specified and I cannot find any error. Now what? How can I find the alleged error?
The easiest way is to cancel the listing, then relist as an auction. Even if you change from BIN to an auction using the "change to auction" option, it will still count as a new listing and either count against your free listings or you pay a fee to list if you have no free listings.
One thing I noticed when I tried to do this in the past is that even though you have switched it to Auction you have to manually uncheck the box that states something like Accept Offers. Not sure exactly what its called as its been awhile since I switched anything to Auction but I know I had the same issue and I had to go into the payments section and look for the box.
