Cannot access listing "variations" to adjust inventory or price! Been doing it for years with no problem.
How frustrating! Why do things get changed that are not broken????????
Anyone got a fix for this? Thanks

I got an email from eBay on 4/13 that started out like this:
To reduce buyer confusion and create a more consistent shopping experience across Item Conditions, condition-and grade-related variants (e.g., “very good,” “good,” “Grade A,” “Grade B”) as custom multi-SKU variant options will be removed in the listing experience for the below categories. This change will occur on May 16, 2022 and it will be permanent.
I'm sure that the text of the email can be found somewhere on the seller forums or in the seller hub. It confused me because I have never listed anything with variations, that I remember.

I can still access all my variations listing to make changed without any problems.
What are you experiencing?

In the past I have been able to select a listing either through my store, orders received, or by simply searching for the item. From the listing that then appeared, there is a "revise listing" option. When choosing this option there used to be the entire listing info - including the variations. Now there is no way to "revise" the listing "variations" from this "revise listing" option since the "variations" option is now gone. After a couple of days I finally found a way to modify the variations by scrolling through Listings / Active and finding the listing that I want. Right below the item title is "variations", and clicking here will take me to yet another screen to edit my inventory, price, etc. This wouldn't be so bad if I only had 5-10 listings, but several hundred takes too much time. This option used to be available in the main listing and therefore was much easier to maintain the listing. It was so much better when ALL listing information was on one page. So much for a "better seller experience".

What you are describing is how it's ALWAYS been for me for as long as i can remember.
Let's say you want to change the quantity on a variations listing.
Go to the listing.
Click on "Revise listing".
Then scroll down about half way down the page.
Then click on "Edit price, quantity, and SKU for variations".
Again, that's how i've always done it.

That use to be the way for me, but no more. "Edit price, quantity, and SKU for variations" is not there anymore. I will just have to do it the new, longer way!! Thanks for the response.

I've never seen this new/longer way but thanks for bringing it to my attention.

Which method are you using. I have a bunch of variation listings, and I just checked them with
1. Desktop Browser using
A) The link from the Active Listing Page (Under the title "00 Variations"
B) The Classic (Old) Listing Tool
C) The NEW 'improved' Listing Tool
All the variation options (price/inventory etc...) showed up on all three methods...
I did not try mobile or Tablet
Maybe you need to NOT have a popup blocker on?
(just guessing)
The Variations Edit link should be active from the NEW Tool
