6 days into a listing I noticed that one item has the wrong pics. It somehow is showing the first pic four times instead of four different pics.
It won't let me add a note, it won't let me end the item without selling it and accepting the current high bid, and the high bidder hasn't responded to my email.
I don't want a disappointed buyer but it won't let me cancel the bids, it won't let me add pics or a note in the description. It gives me no option to cancel the ad before it sells.
I emailed the bidders, informed them of the error, but haven't heard back.
Worse, yet, since I can't change the listing in anyway, I can't prevent any further bidding till the item goes off.

You've run into the 12-hour limits, but you should still be able to cancel individual bids, even if you can't end the auction.

Not a car person, but isn't the back side of the cap just plain ?
Most people would know what they looked like, not sure I would stress too much.
Let it run and maybe contact the winner offering more images for their perusal before they pay and let them cancel at their request if they wish.

Is there something important in the missing three pics?
If it's the hubcaps who would really care about extra pics?

That link is for a bidder to cancel his/her bids, not for a seller to cancel bids on an item.

Hubcaps are front and rear, front caps have holes in the middle for the 4x4 hub. those are not pictured. It somehow is showing four copies of one pic, not all four caps. More importantly, its not showing the front caps with the holes. With four rear caps showing, it makes it appear the set would fit a 2 wheel drive vehicle, when it really is only for 4x4 vehicles.
I don't think they made or sold a vehicle that used four rear caps (or a 4x2 model in the vehicles that used these wheels).
I'd rather end it now than deal with an upset winning bidder who won an item he can't use.
I only realized it when I opened the ad on another computer that wasn't logged into my account, I had seen they were going to sell in the morning and wanted to see what shipping method and box they were advertised with. That's when I saw the pics were showing only one pic four times vs. one of each actual item.
I see no way to cancel the bids and it won't let me cancel the item without declaring the high bidder the winner early.

I spoke too soon. The link worked, it just wouldn't take the bidder's ID for some reason the first time.
I tried it again, retyped the bidders name and it worked the third time I tried.

nobody*s_perfect's link worked, I was able to end the ad and relist.
I sent an email to the bidder explaining what happened.
I hate screw ups but I'd rather deal with it now than later.
When I relisted, it tried to duplicate the pics again for some reason, I finally changed the file names and re-uploaded them and it seems to be fine now.

Wait, WHAT! For years, it has been impossible to end a listing that way. But I've looked at the history and that listing did indeed end over an hour before it was scheduled to . But the canceled bid isn't showing at the bottom of the bid history window. Very puzzling.
Anyway, thanks for the update. I'm glad that it worked out for you and I hope that your (canceled) former bidder comes back.

We also just had the same problem, which we discovered after the item sold. In our case, the first pic was the wrong pic, and the others were correct. Item had been listed a long time. We explained the situation to the buyer, giving them the option to cancel the transaction, and they said cancel, so we cancelled, and fixed this pics on the relisted item. I have no idea how this happened.

I just saw that they charged me $9.41 to end that sale.
I canceled the only bid and ended the item due to an error in the listing.
Its better than a bad sale but we shouldn't get penalized like that for ending a sale.
I never did hear back from the bidder, so I have no idea if they would have wanted the item
anyhow, but I doubt it since they didn't reply. I would have had to cancel the sale either way.
