Can you make the financial montly report be on the 1st?

Ebay sends out a monthly report. It always seems to be on the 15th

Is there a way to set it so that it just does the monthly report on an actual month to month basis?

i don’t want 15th -15th

I would like 1st to end of month.

I have always wondered that my self. Especially Dec 15 (this year) to Jan 15 (next year). Plays havoc with the accounting.

eBay has two billing dates, end of month or middle of the month, they are randomly assigned when you open your selling account. I do not think there is any way to change it.

For tax purposes one would generally use 12 monthly periods based on ending date. So for 2021 it would be the billing periods starting on Jan 15 and ending Dec 15.

Or you could use other methods like eBay's Transaction Report where you can customize the periods any way you like.

Given the switch over to Managed Payments the monthly periods really don't mean much anymore as you are no longer being billed monthly. Best to switch over to the Transaction Report which has ALL the details you need for any method of accounting or record keeping.
