I’ve recently have a buyer message me saying they’re trying to buy one of my listings but it “won’t ship to New York”. I have global shipping on and I’ve checked in my settings and there are no problems. I’m starting to believe it might be a scam since it’s an £100 item and the user has no feedback despite being a member since 2021. I’m not really sure what to do so if there’s any advice it would be greatly appreciated!

You are in GB and these are the US boards... but as a general principle -- if all my settings are correct (like you say yours are) I ignore these sorts of messages and add the sender to my blocked buyer list.
I'm in the USA, and all your items will ship to me. For example:
I even added two to my cart, and got no error messages about the USA.
