I have 6 items currently listed and when I try to post more it says: “you can’t have more than 10 items listed at a time.” I don’t have 10 listed and I haven’t used my 50 for the month.

6 listed + 4 sold = 10
You can call eBay and ask if they will increase your limits.

If you can only list 10 items, that means 10 items a month. So like the other poster said, if you sold 4, then you are allowed to list only 6 items now. And although each non-store member is given 50 free listings a month, you will still be limited to ten. There is no way around the new seller listing limits until you have successfully managed your way through the probationary period. Best of luck to you moving forward.

You can request higher limits every 30 days.
Another point, the restrictions are not only on number of listings they are also on value.
So if you can list 10 items or $500 value, you could list 10 x $50 items or one $500 item or 10 x $5 items, but not 100 x$5items.
Take your time.
And the hardest part of selling online is shipping.
Consider this part of the learning experience. And we all hate those.
Hmm - you can turn that Mario Bros picture around by going to Revise then clicking on the swirly arrow and then on Save.

I have a question for you" I looked at your listing > 183679320878 and you have price of $2.50 with 5.00 shipping, you are aware your not going to make anything on this deal Right, so why bother? I mean after your 10% seller fee/2.5% PayPal fee and shipping which will likely cost you more than $5.00 and Shipping fee on top of that and there is the chance you have a buyer file a not as described case against you( buyer scam happening allot to get free stuff ) you will loose money, so why bother? do not misunderstand me i just cannot wrap my head around this?
Selling Price 2.50 + 5.00 = $7.50 revenue
Expenses
eBay 0.75
PayPal 0.52
Mailer 0.20
Postage 3.63 (First Class Package)
Total expenses $5.10
Total Revenue $7.50
Net Profit $2.40 = 32% NET profit
Also possible
Expenses
eBay 0.75
PayPal 0.52
Mailer 0.20
Postage 2.75 (Media Mail)
Total expenses $4.22
Total Revenue $7.50
Net Profit $3.28 = 56% NET profit
I have assigned an item cost in this case of $0.00 since this is clearly a personal possession that is used. If it was actually purchased specifically for resale it might possibly have a cost of $0.50

It's also a good way to get experience selling with little risk.
