If, however, the seller is shipping with DHL or Fed Ex, that carrier requires a phone # for the recipient in case of a problem with the address. Or they did as of a few months ago.
Why the option "find contact information" in advance search disappeared ??

There are three ways to get a phone number:
On your orders page, there is a drop-down menu beside each of your sales. One of those options is "View Sales Record". Often, a buyer's phone number is in that record (not always).
Message the buyer and ask the buyer for their phone number, telling them that the shipping company requires it.
Call eBay customer service and request that they send out the buyer's contact information. They will send a notice to the buyer that it is requested, and they will send both parties (buyer and seller) the contact information for each other via eBay messaging.
