I wrote about this problem 3 weeks ago when it began happening ,, people tried to help , but zero success on all attempts . I've called e bay reps three times to report it but nothing has changed in spite of the promises . The issue is ,,I keep getting long multiple slide out messages from the right side of my summary page EVERY 15 SECONDS,, yes,, every 15 seconds for hours ,, non stop . These messages are reminders telling me to '' BID NOW'' on items that I'm already the highest bidder on . Then there are the ''OUTBID '' notices every 15 seconds concerning the SAME items over and over . I've done everything I know to do from my end to stop it , I've done everything my husband knows to do to stop it , but nothing works . When I first called e bay , they told me this is how its supposed to be , its set up that way - unquote . Oh really ? I've been buying and selling on e bay since 1996 , earned a top rated seller status since then,, but I've never ever before been bombarded with messages this often and this incorrect . Its begining to feel like torture so much so that I'm giving serious thought to just closing up my store here all together ..Ebay reps don't really seem to understand the problem , so I'm about out of options . I simply can not conduct business while being constantly interrupted and my view blocked because of a ridiclous technical problem that the techs can't even understand much less fix .

Did you try installing a pop up blocker?

I am no computer expert but the first thing I can think of is does it happen on multiple devices? Have you tried a different computer or laptop? If it doesn't happen on different computers throw your computer out.

I don't own anything but a Dell desk top . Its less than a year old . I don't have any other negative issues . This problem began just three weeks ago. Before then when I logged on the slide out messages would appear but go away after a few times . However now its stuck in overdrive and they're never ending . I believe this is E bay's technical problem . Thanks

I guess that's an idea , not sure how to go about it though .

See your thread in Technical issues for a Firefox browser solution: @turquoisetulips
That approach hides the pop-outs, but doesn't address why they have gone nuts. Unless the pop-outs cause a noticeable performance hit (unlikely) that probably doesn't matter as long as they go away.
If you haven't already, clear browser cache and cookies (in case there is a triggering cookie and/or damaged/obsolete script in the cache), and then try the blocking approach.
To all:
When posting problems like this it is critical to state what at least what browser, and preferably also what browser version, OS, and OS version you are using. Useful for certain problems (like "a recent Chrome browser update broke eBay that way - it's not eBay's fault"), and important for proceeding with client side blocking type solutions like the one above (ie: I do Firefox solutions but if you are using Internet Explorer or Edge I might be wasting time outlining a Firefox browser fix).
