I don't know how to start this because it's complicated and I don't even know if I have a problem yet, but it's frustrating that I can't find what I may need to see (and maybe show as proof) if/when it comes to it.
One of my packages hasn't had any scans since Friday. I know that's not very long, I know some packages get no scans at all until delivery. I'm not asking about that or worried about it yet. But incidentally this is a valuable enough package that I purchased extra insurance for it, so I've begun looking for the if/when screens I might need, if I end up having to file a claim. By the way I have filed several (basic Priority, limit $100) claims and WON, so please no off-topic rants about the USPS not honoring their blah blah blah.
But I'm already seeing 2 problems in this would-be case, and even if it's not a case, another one could be in the future, and either/both these issues could come up, for me or anyone else.
1. This was a combined order, 2 singles and 1 triple, (so that's 3 orders totaling 5 items). When I went to purchase the label on the bulk label screen, it offered to combine those 3 orders, and I selected 'yes.' I know it worked because all 3 orders show the same tracking number on their respective (separate) order screens. But I can't find ANY screen that shows all 5 items together, WITH their purchase price total, or the tracking number.
Look at this Labels screen (below). It shows only one of the 'single' item orders. The packing slip popup enables showing all the orders in a popup-within-a-popup, but it doesn't show the total purchase price OR the tracking number. When you file a missing package case with the USPS, and when you file an insurance claim, you have to prove the value. Can you see what a mess this one would be?
2. This is my bad -when I was purchasing the label, I knew I wanted to purchase extra insurance but couldn't decide whether to get the USPS coverage or the other company's (can't recall their name now) which was a bit cheaper. And now I can't remember 100% certain which one I chose, but I'm fairly sure I paid the higher amount for USPS just because I know I'm familiar with their claims process. But now I can't see anything showing that I purchased any extra insurance at all, never mind which one I chose! It doesn't even show the (combined) weight of the package or anything!
So if anyone knows where to find more detailed and inclusive pages/screens showing these details, I would sure appreciate it.

Just a quick reply on this point alone (above): USPS has been having some kind of digestive problems with their tracking system all morning; their website just hangs for a while if given a tracking number, and finally times out with this error page. Thus I don't know how good a tracking feed is being provided to eBay this morning either.
