Can't enter prices when listing an item

Still can't enter a price when I list items. The numbers don't show in the boxes. I can't input any numbers in the start price, buy it now, shipping cost boxes.  I asked this before and only got answers from people who are having the same trouble.  What's wrong EBAY !!!!  I can't list items if I can't input the information.  What's going on?   This isn't just me, others have the same issue and Ebay isn't doing any thing to help.

EBay is not reading us here in the seller category. Perhaps someone might see it in the Report Technical Issues category.

FWIW, I was experiencing the same while listing today and had to click on another field or outside of the price box and then go back to it in order to enter numbers.

Been experiencing the same nearly every time I work some new listings.

Upper right hand corner of the numbers pad ... there's a button called "Number Lock"

The price is actually there you can't see it unless you highlight it.  It's sort of whited out.   If you save the listing to draft you will see it did fill in or register.

Did you happen to have variations on your listing and then delete them?  I had this very thing happen today.  The only difference between that draft and the reset were that it had once had variations turned on.  i simply started a new draft and it worked fine.

That was it! I just started fresh with no problems, that so weird.

This is a NIGHTMARE!  So glad to know I am not the only one. I have called them at least a dozen times and they will not do ANYTHING ABOUT THIS.  They act like I am the only one with this problem. Thank you for making me realize I am not going crazy!  Why don't they FIX THIS???

The price is not there. It will not let me list the item and keeps telling me to put in a price. Every time I type in the price and try to save it, it will not let me save it.  I am unable to list anything.

I have the same problem - I am trying to create a Classified Advertisement - I enter all details, photos etc. (including an Advertised Price and a Telephone number - numbers only). When I go to "List" to start the advert it states I have no price or telephone number. I have tried so many options over the last 2 hours I am sooo frustrated.

This is an old thread from March 2024.  The OP appears to have had their issue solved  as they are still selling, so I doubt they'll reply.

I actually had help from a ebay colleague and he pointed me in the direction of:

1. opening an 'incognito window' in my browser
2. loading and logging into eBay
3. reopening my draft selling item
4. adding both price and telephone number
5. posting my advertisement
6. Job done.
7. Ta-da
