Maybe this is a new way eBay is doing things. They are constantly making changes.
If you try to start a new listings does it just default to the way eBay wants it listed?
You can start a listing and schedule the date to start at a future time (up to three weeks). Doing this allows you to keep making changes without the listing starting until the time you set. It could be helpful so you could attempt to figure out if there is a fix. You can delete the listing before it starts if you need to or extend the start time.
