First, I have been selling on eBay a while now, and I just come to realize that it is possible to create item categories on your store-front. I have spent 2 whole days looking up how to do this. The most recent instructions I have found anywhere online are from 2022 and the photos/videos they use to show the step-by-step process do not look anything like what I see when trying to follow along through my store. Has anyone done this process this year, as apparently there has been a new update and everything was changed.
Second, I do some drop shipping just to offer options. I use Printify for this service. Normally, I have no issues with listings and everything goes great. This last week, when I make a new listing. What shows to customers is not what I see in my controls. Specifically, available quantity. I typically have 5 items available of each option just to have a little control over how many orders are made and to try and prevent "Out of Stock" issues as much as possible. But on the customer side (I have used another device and had a friend pull it up) it shows a quantity of only 1 and when I put in another quantity. It says "Seller has limited to one item per customer". Is there a way to fix this? Or someone (seller) willing to do screenshares on Skype or something to walk me through these? Or even send me the steps on screenshots? I have an email specifically for the store if that helps. Just desperate to resolve this before it starts to really effect my sales. TIA. P.S. United States based here.

Hi Katie. You can add/remove and edit your store categories starting in your seller hub. Click on your store icon and you will see the first shot. I've done three screen shots for you. Hopefully I upload them in the proper order. I'll see what I can do to help you with your second question in another reply.
Click on Manage my store.
Then Store categories to the left.
Then add/remove categories.

With your other issue go the Help & Contact at the top of your page and Type in Management.
Select Setting Buyer Requirements
Select Buyer Management
Change your Block Settings to what you want.
It's possible that your buyers are getting that message from you because you have blocked them.
Coupons will also limit sales to one item per customer. You may want to check in your coupon section of your store to see if you have anything active.
If your listings are not accepting multiple quantities of an item being available, that sounds like a glitch with ebay. Other than coupons, I don't believe there is any way to limit items to one per customer, and I just called ebay to confirm that (but they are sometimes wrong). Hopefully someone else has an answer for you on that, but to me it sounds like a glitch.

I'm not sure which items you are talking about but I do see 5 available on your Android and more than 10 on your Bluetooth listings. A few of the others are showing as last ones. You may want to check the variations on the listings to see if they are the ones you are talking about.

Another thing to consider with your multi-quantity variation listings is that you are a relatively new seller (May 2024) and may have reached your selling limits. Remember that the total number of items in a variation listing are used when selling limits are calculated by eBay.

That is not at all what I see on my store. I cannot even follow your screenshots after the first one. It looks nothing like that at all. I have attached a screenshot of mine as well. I do not have a place that gives me an option to manage my store. I did get into my categories list, but cannot arrange anything. It is all arranged by the auto options and is what I want to do is move specific faith based items into their own category.

It does not look like you have an eBay store.

@katiescloset2011 Katie: To have your own categories, you need to pay a monthly subscription fee for a an eBay store. I don't see where you have a store and if you still have listing limits, it probably too soon to consider a store subscription. That's why you aren't seeing the store categories screens.

Of the 250 free items per month it says 183 remaining, the total remaining says 8041 remain, the value says $41,445 remaining I can list this month. If that helps.

OK, great. It sounds like selling limits are not getting in your way.
I am not sure why you cannot change the quantity. Here is another way to update the quantities for a variation listing that you can try (if you have not already).
From your Seller Hub Manage Active Listing page find a listing that has the wrong quantity. Look below the title for something that looks like this [XX Variations] indicating how many variations you currently have listed. Click on [XX Variations].
The next page that opens will show you all the options for the listing, along with the quantity of each. Hover over the quantity for one of the options and you will see a little pencil appear. Click on the pencil and a box will open where you can edit the quantity for that option. Click submit after you enter the correct number. You can repeat the process for each option that needs the quantity updated.
Here is a couple of screenshots that I hope helps

Thank you for that. It seems to have resolved the issue.
