I'm a new seller living in Japan. I was excited to list my first product until it redirected me to a "payment methods" page, where I have the option to either A) Use my PayPal account. B) Link my bank account. or C) Use a credit card - for the purpose of any listing fees. Even though I'm not using any, I must choose an option of payment in order to sell an item.
My issue is this:
Option A. requires a credit card that must be my own. PayPal's policy. I don't own one in Japan yet and it takes a while to receive one (if they even let you)
Option B. can only utilize bank accounts in the US
So, I was wondering if eBay would allow me to use my mother's credit card in option C. until I manage to get my own in Japan.
I know that it's not uncommon for people to use friends/family's cards to make purchases on eBay, but I don't want to go breaking some rules before I even start.
Any advice? And thank you for reading!

Likewise. There might be a small test charge put on it to verify that it's working, but I think that would be rolled back afterward.
