So a buyer recently bought 2 different listings I had and they’re addressed to the same place. If I can, would I be allowed to ship the items together or do they need to be separate? The buyer paid for 2 sets of postage so I’m not sure what to do if I do send it in a single package. Would I be allowed to give him a partial refund for the postage as I don’t feel
right charging double postage.

You can ship the 2 orders together in the same box.
On the shipping label page there is an option to combine the orders.
It will let you print out 1 label for the 2 orders.
I will assign the tracking number to both orders.
As far as refunding the buyer, hhat is up to you.
Go to the order.
Use the dropdown menu to "refund".
Select the reason "shipping discount".
Refund the amount you want.

Yes, you can ship items together to the same buyer. Yes, doing a partial refund for excess postage is an honorable move. However, ask your customer first! The customer may have had a reason to buy items separately. Also, when asking if they are okay with combining shipping, inform them that you will be refunding to them the excess postage. No matter what, make sure you have the buyer's permission b/f combining.

Even though it's the same name & address, be sure to check the actual ebay IDs are the same before you combine them.
If they bought them separately with a guest account their IDs may be different and you won't be able to combine them.
