Can I sell in this manner?

Hi all,

I want to start an eBay store selling some products from my country.

I was actually thinking about listings products from my country which have the potential of being popular on eBay. However, I plan to take pictures only of the products and upload them on my eBay store, but not buy any of the products at this stage.

Then, as and when orders are received, I buy the product from the shops in my country and pack the product and post it to the buyer. Of course, I add a profit to the value at which I buy the product from the shop.

In this manner, I do not take any risks buying products which might end up not selling, and leading to my loss.

Can anyone tell me whether this is allowed?

Please help me, as I am new to selling.

Thank you for reading!

Regards

** Non-US sellers have their customers cleared payments Held for a full 21 days, while US-based sellers can get the payments much sooner. You can use the Held funds to buy shipping labels however.

That has not been true for Canadian sellers for a number of years even though you keep posting that it is.  I have no idea if it is true for ebayers from other sites.

True if they don't use tracking (which a lot of Canadian sellers don't)
Reality is the leading cause of stress.
