Can I block a buyer before refunding him? Or will I have to wait until after the refund?

Does blocking a buyer also block the ability to refund the transaction? I'd like to block a buyer ASAP, so will I have to wait until after the refund to add him to my list?

I think you can block him immediately from buying anything else from you as long as you take care of the initial refund.

Because even though you blocked him from buying anything else he can still communicate with you, and you him.

I'm waiting on a return, so I don't want to refund him just yet.

Yes immediately block him from buying anything else.

The two of you can still communicate and of course he can still leave feedback.

Blocking a member has no effect on current transactions.  It only blocks them from future bids/buys.  So you can block him right now.
