Buyers not leaving feedback....

Why do some people leave feedback and other buyers do not? Positive feedback helps our selling. I leave feedback for every buyer that purchases an item from me.

Maybe add a personal message in package. Maybe a freebie in an order.

I get maybe 10 % feedback per 100 orders.

Some buyers are like that.

I over package and send my items the next day...even though I don't have next day delivery.

And my items without tracking arrive way quicker than with those with tracking.

Most people just don't have time for it.

Shopping online for many people is just another chore like shopping in a store.

They most likely see feedback as just another annoyance like all those websites asking you to review every single online purchase.

Looks like you already have over 3k so I wouldn't worry about it.

I do leave feedback for all of my customers though because some still appreciate it.

Sometimes they don't leave feedback because they're unhappy with the transaction and feel it deserves a neg, but they're too nice to do that so they just leave no feedback at all.  Do not poke bears.

Sometimes they don't leave feedback because they have grown tired of being asked for it every time they buy something, go to the doctor, fly on a plane, stay in a hotel, have a car repaired, get a pizza delivered, and on and on and on.  If pushed too hard, they'll leave a feedback, all right -- a neg.  Do not poke bears.

Sometimes they just don't want to, perhaps for reasons we'll never know perhaps for no reason at all.  And since feedback is, and always has been, voluntary, that's perfectly okay.

No feedback is much better than negative feedback! Some just might not like taking that extra step for a nice word or two! Some buyers like to blame sellers for the high postage rates, or the time it took to get there, or the condition of the package upon arrival and leave a negative. They don't realize or care that we sellers have no control over the shipping services!

Because they are not required to, and they have no real incentive to.

Positive feedback helps our selling.

Buyers have no real incentive to help your selling.

There are 150 million active buyers on eBay. Not all of them do what you do.
