Buyers disputing charge

I’m seeing a trend happening to me where buyers place orders from new accounts opened that same day then disputing the charge.

one buyer disputed an hour after placing his order.

any suggestions on how to protect myself from this?

till now I started cancelling all orders from new accounts but this is not sustainable and I’m assuming causes defects and lower ratings.

what can I do here?

what can I do here? Not really anything you can do, sorry you are getting such crappy buyer's.

In addition to reporting the immediate dispute buyers, add all bad buyers to your BBL.

You have a lowish feedback score, sell expensive items in a high fraud category. That makes you an attractive target.

Cancelling sales without buyer authorization can get you in trouble with eBay—you are right about that. Plus indiscriminate cancelling of new accounts means legit sellers could be getting thrown out with the bath water.

The time to assess one’s risk tolerance is prior to listing the item. Once the sale is made, there is little that can be done to mitigate liability. Trying to manage risk after the sale can be problematic.
