Buyer wants to return CPU after using it for a week and giving me positive feedback.

Hi, recently sold a working boxed CPU with cooler after I upgraded my PC, and I know it was working up to the day I posted it. Buyer seemed pleased with it and he left positive feedback a few days after receiving it. Just over a week later, I received a message stating it's defective and he wants a refund. I know it was working, if he's shorted the motherboard and fried the CPU, and wants to send back a dead chip, what can I do?

If the buyer has filed an INAD, accept the return, pay return shipping and refund once something is returned.

Have a great day.

If item received is after 30 days...there is not MBG...you have the option to say yes or no.

And since you got positive feedback already...well, that's even better.

Block the buyer ASAP immediately.

However, item received less than 30 days you have to offer a refund or there are other options.

Is it worth a return and you pay return shipping...and will it be returned or maybe just a book instead?
