Hi Guys- really need some insight and thoughts here. A buyer in Israel (132 transactions w/ all positive feedback) messaged me asking if we could work out a deal if she purchases multiple items (about 27 pieces of womens clothing). I explained that ebay doesn't allow bundling or best offer for mutiple items (that I am aware of?), and this is the response she gave me:
"You can relist an item with a different price, you could offer a discount for bulk shopping, you could give me an option to "request total" in my shopping cart and answer that with a discount we could discount. All these things are totally within the rules of the commerce here"
She makes it sound pretty easy and maybe I am totally wrong but I don't think it is that easy to negtotiate individual prices on all these listings she's interested in (again this is for 27 items- I know because she copied and pasted each lisyting into a separate message). I'd obviously like to make a big sale, but am cautious about the best way to do this. I don't want to cancel all my listings. How would you proceed based on her request?
Also, this would be going internationally so not sure how this would be reflected as part of the Global Shipping Program and if I could revise the invoice at all? I attached her last message to me (the top one). She says "request total" but I don't think you can CHANGE the price once a listing has sold, right??
Thanks in advance!

You could create a codeless coupon promotion that include all the listing codes that she wants to buy, and offer a % or $ discount on a minimum order. To do this, go to the Seller Hub screen -> Marketing -> Promotions -> Create a Promotion -> Codeless coupon and from there it's easy to follow the options..

I don’t think it will be as easy as she makes it sound. You can’t send an invoice if it’s a GSP sale. The prices are locked in, you can’t discount anything. If you ship directly to her, You would have to ship priority international express to Israel and for 27 pieces of clothing, that’s not going to be cheap. And you can’t discount anything on the invoice other than the shipping cost. If you have Best Offer on each listing, I suppose she could make 27 offers after you decide the total amount she’s going to pay. Or you could create a custom listing for her with all 27 pieces at the price agrees on& you could use the GSP BUT....you can’t set the GSP international shipping cost and there is no way find out what that will be. Plus the import fees they may add on. So that’s not a good idea. So if you do create a custom listing, you would be better off shipping directly to her IF you are willing to take that risk.

Thank you- you summed up all of my concerns. I entertained one listing but I feel like if there's issues with one or two items, I'm up you know what creek with a paddle.
I think I'll again suggest that she purchase items that she's interested and message me on each listing and I can send her an offer.
Appreciate your feedback- very helpful-

Buyers always have 100% positive feedback. Haven’t been able to leave anything else for a buyer for years now. I would be very wary of a large transaction with an international buyer with only 132 FB. Especially when she is telling you how to do what she wants and adding “it is within the rules”. Doesn’t sound like it’s her first rodeo. I would block her and move on. JMHO

I have done a similar thing occasionally and it worked out fine.
I had a customer wanting to buy a lot of assorted wine goblets with a quantity discount, but they were all different prices.
So I created a listing headlined:
For (they the buyers handle)
The listing said:
Offered is a collection of (number) of wine goblets (and I had them all in a single picture) with a set price for the lot. Specify the shipping method (Priority Mail interational instead of GSP) and weight for the entire lot.
Send your buyer the link to that listing. Tell them act quick or goodbye. List it as “sold as a lot” and tell your buyer you will leave it up for a specific amount of time and then delete it. It has worked for me more than once.

She actually just wrote me and said that other sellers have done this, so I will try offering 25% off on her purchases. I hope it works out- Thanks again!!

I went ahead and created a week long couponless code for 25% off $100 or more. But when I click on the name of the promo, it takes me to an error sign with an exclamation point in a trinagle that says "We couldn't find the promotion you requested for."
Ruh roh- is this user error? LOL
